BlackRock off 2.6% as earnings, revenues miss
(NYSE:BlackRock) was lower Monday as second-quarter earnings and revenues missed estimates.
BlackRock shares were down 2.8% in pre-market trade at 09:15 ET.
The world's largest asset manager reported a 10% rise in diluted, adjusted earnings per share in the quarter to $5.24.
BlackRock was forecast to report EPS of $5.39.
Revenues in the quarter were up 6% from a year earlier at $2.97 billion.
That fell short of an estimate of $3.02 billion.
Assets under management at the end of the quarter were up 16% at $5.69 trillion.
